Still struggling for Mothers Day Gift Ideas? Well, is your mum difficult to get hold of? I know when I try to call my mum for an urgent babysitting request she’s never anywhere to be found. So this year I’m getting her a mobile phone for one of her mothers day gifts. Then there’ll be no escape – as long as she turns it on!

Rather than tying her into a contract a pay as you go mobile seems just the job, some handsets offer good quality without being too expensive.

The Nokia 6300 for example is between £70 and £90 for a pay as you go contract and is one of the best Nokia mobiles for many years.

With stainless steel covers it has a sleek and sophisticated design which also incorporates a 2 megapixel camera, an MP3 player, an FM stereo and is bluetooth enabled.
